Nordic Ehandel Experten AB (reg. no. 559586-3654), which operates Start Your Brand, Fågelsångsvägen 17, 117 68 Stockholm, is the data controller for your personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swedish Data Protection Act (2018:218). Quote requests and questions: name, email, phone, company and what you write to us. Purpose: to reply and prepare a quote. Legal basis: steps prior to entering a contract (Art. 6.1 b) or legitimate interest (Art. 6.1 f).

Client account and projects: login details, contact details and project information. Purpose: to perform our contract with you (Art. 6.1 b).

Newsletter: email address. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6.1 a), which you can withdraw at any time via the link in every email.

Accounting and invoicing: data we must keep under the Swedish Bookkeeping Act (1999:1078). Legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 6.1 c).

Requests that do not lead to an assignment are deleted no later than 24 months after last contact. Client data is kept for the duration of the contract and thereafter as long as needed to handle complaints and claims. Accounting records are kept for seven years under the Bookkeeping Act. Newsletter addresses are deleted when you unsubscribe.

We never sell your data. We share it with processors needed to run the service (hosting, database, email) and – when you hire us – with suppliers, factories, inspection companies and freight forwarders to the extent your project requires. Some of these are outside the EU/EEA, for example in Asia. Such transfers rely on the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses, an adequacy decision, or are necessary to perform our contract with you (Art. 46 and 49 GDPR).

You have the right to access, rectify or erase your data, restrict processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to dream@startyourbrand.se; we reply within one month.

If you believe we process your data incorrectly, you may lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), www.imy.se.
